About

Aislinn O’Connor, LCPC, LPC

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana (LCPC #81157) and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon (LPC #C8671). I integrate elements of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Narrative therapy with ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) so that your treatment is guided by your values. My approach is based on the perspective that new stories are possible when we collaborate on—and commit to—meaningful action that leads to a bigger life.

Before starting my own practice, I worked for five years at a specialty clinic in Portland, Oregon, treating OCD and anxiety disorders. Prior to that I completed two internships in Bozeman, Montana, serving clients at the nonprofit HAVEN as well as at Montana State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado.

I’ve been a member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF.org) since 2017 and continue to stay informed on best practices for OCD and related disorders by attending the IOCDF’s annual conferences and continuing education courses. In addition to trainings in OCD, BDD, BFRBs and anxiety disorders, I’ve also completed trainings in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) and CBIT for Tics and Tourette’s Syndrome.
