I work with adults, teens, and kids to help them manage the symptoms of OCD, OC-spectrum disorders, and anxiety disorders. I also offer SPACE treatment (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) for parents/caregivers, including parents of adult children.

People often ask if Exposure & Response Prevention will work for “Pure O” or their specific subtype of OCD (harm, relationship, existential, etc.). The answer is yes—ERP is the gold-standard treatment for OCD regardless of theme or subtype.

What to expect...
· First we’ll have a brief phone conversation to see if my approach seems like a good fit for you, and from there we’ll determine scheduling.
· As we work together, we’ll collaborate on your goals for treatment and how to achieve them at a pace that works for you. Daily homework is an important part of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), however, as progress typically depends on a willingness to commit to consistent exposure practice between sessions.
· All sessions are conducted via telehealth in SimplePractice—a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. We’ll meet weekly at the same day & time for our 50-minute session.
· I don’t offer in-person sessions. If you find the idea of telehealth daunting from a technology perspective, all you need is a good internet connection and a private place to talk (even a parked car will do). You’ll get an appointment reminder and click the link to join—nothing to download unless you’re using your phone, in which case all you need to download is the SimplePractice app.
